Grace Is Incommensurability in Commensuration

Since the seventeenth century, prophets have reappeared periodically among Wa and Lahu ethnic groups of mainland Southeast Asia. Exceptionally talented, these men built on syncretic cults runaway soldiers, secretive Buddhist sects, Christian missionaries became leaders millenarian movements. Typically, in language, such are said to be very strong blessed, or full grace (bwan). The might understood as reincarnations mythical ‘men prowess’ representatives peripheral situation.
